To arrange a one half-hour, initial phone consultation, please call me or email me.

Initial Scheduled Appointments:

Initial appointments are 80-minutes. The fee is $190. The initial session will be a time to review client documents, which are found on this website under ” Materials & Address Karen.” We will discuss your concerns and get to know one another. I will honor payments paid in cash or by check with a discounted rate. The discounted rate for an initial visit is $175.

Subsequent in-office appointments: 50-minute or 80-minute fees:

50-minute sessions are $130
80-minute sessions are $190
105-minute sessions are $260
If you determine it is more convenient for you to pay ten sessions in advance, I will provide an eleventh session to you at no cost. However, if you do not complete all ten sessions, I will refund advanced payments on a pro-rated basis, for the unused sessions.

Teletherapy: Zoom, FaceTime, and WhatsApp video appointments; telephone appointments

If you are as technophobic as I am, you are probably getting anxious right about now. But, hey, what's to lose? We can always have a phone appointment if the technology doesn't work.
If you choose a Zoom appointment, I will email you before your appointment with a link to our Zoom meeting. Then all you do is click on the link at the appointed time.
If you choose a FaceTime or WhatsApp appointment, I will call you at the appointed time.
If you choose a telephone appointment, I will call you at the appointed time.

For an appointment, call me. If I am not in the office, your call may be forwarded to my cell phone.

Good faith estimate of fees: the fees listed here represent payment in full. We do not have hidden fees.

To schedule an appointment with Karen Mattern, please call or email me. If I am out of the office or with a client, your call will go to a voice message system. I check emails twice daily.

Cancellations:

I request a 24-hour notice of cancellation for any scheduled appointments. You may contact me by phone or email. If I do not receive a notification, I may have to charge you. Thank you for your consideration.
